Why legal and accounting first
Legal and accounting work is evidence-heavy, deadline-driven, and accountable by nature. Generic prompting is not built for that — professional work depends on relationships between documents, deadlines, obligations, and unresolved facts, not a single answer to a single question.
Product and research are separate
The Kavroth application handles authentication, workspace and matter scoping, permissions, retrieval, citations, and review checkpoints. Kavroth Labs is a separate research program exploring workflow reasoning, evidence attribution, and abstention — it is not presented as a finished foundation model.
Software-first, evidence-grounded
Kavroth is software-first: permissions and workspace scope are enforced before retrieval and inference, and material conclusions are meant to be grounded in evidence the workspace has authorized.
Professional review, by design
Kavroth is designed to abstain when evidence is insufficient or contradictory, and to keep accountability with qualified professionals — not to replace attorneys, CPAs, accountants, or their staff.
Responsible data provenance
Customer documents are not used to train Kavroth models by default. Private and local deployment is part of the architectural direction as the product matures.
